Yacht Charter Holidays - What Luggage And Clothes To Take
?
Are you thinking of chartering a yacht for a holiday so that you can explore say a country like Egypt from a different perspective. Plus by opting for this kind of holiday it allows you the opportunity to really relax and unwind.
But before you do go ahead and arrange your holiday there are certain things that you need to consider. Below we take a look at what some of these are.
1. Clothes When staying on a yacht or even a motor cruiser the amount of space in which your clothes can be stored is somewhat limited. So it is best if you don't bring too many clothes with you. Generally during the day you will find that you spend most of yours wearing your swimming gear or a pair of shorts and a t-shirt . Whereas when going ashore for a nice meal or to explore then for the guys a nice pair of trousers with a polo shirt would suffice and for the women a light summer dress.
If you can opt for clothes that are made from natural materials. Not only are these light and comfortable but will ensure that you won't suffer too much from heat or sweat. Plus if they need to be washed this can be done easily and they won't take very long to dry.
2. Luggage As with clothes you are better off using a soft side suitcase or a duffel bag in which the items you wish to bring on holiday with you. The reason for choosing these is that after unpacking what is inside and storing them away in your cabin the suitcase or duffel bag can be folded up and put in the base of the cupboard or underneath the bed if there is space for it.
