People wish each other with the greeting consist of the word "Happy Christmas" "Merry Christmas". Greeting also includes gifts like chocolates, sweets, Christmas trees, Christmas cakes, Santa Claus etc. Santa Claus is the popular folklore figure.
It has been said that Santa Claus comes at night as gives gift to children. After the midnight mass people celebrate Christmas with their family and friends. People wish each other specially by giving Christmas cakes. Christmas celebration includes special Christmas parties. People make "Crib" on this day. "Crib" is the sign of the simplicity of Jesus Christ where he was born. People also give crib as a gift to their relatives.
There is also tradition of greeting Christmas by sending Christmas cards. Cards have been used since very long to convey the Christmas greetings and wishes to dear ones. Generally a Christmas card consists of Christian symbols such as star of Bethlehem, Christmas tree, Santa Claus, Child Jesus, Candles, Cakes, and Snow etc.
The traditional Christmas greeting cards are usually find with "The Crib" and the "Wishing you a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" message. Many cards express more religious sentiments which contain poem, prayers and Biblical verse.
