Jesus' Birthday Christmas is Here; What Now? The Present!
Well first off Christmas is an opportunity to give yourself the greatest gift of all by making a sincere promise to give throughout the coming year with good cheer. The joys of Christmas shall be negated if you fall back on old behaviours and as you cannot hide what rests within your spirit reflect on who you really are.
Seasons come and go like weather patterns likewise bad habits can and may be advantageously replaced through repetitive perfect practicing with a strong desire for a much improved you. Think of it this way! Would you buy a new car year in and year out if the manufacturers did not make improvements especially if you had the resources to purchase the automobile of your dreams; and at Christmas too? Would you buy a coat with half missing or a single glove or . . etc?
Well then why should your family and friends or even associates buy the privilege of time with you for a return on their investment that leaves them short of the mark of satisfaction? How many times have you regretted something but chose not to apologize or performed an inappropriate behaviorism that spelled disaster; we all do at times and it is not the end of the world as long as we raise our level over time? We expect growth in all aspects of the economy and universe but we do not always expect it to come from within and that is the most important source of all.
Seriously what is the point of celebrating your own birthday let alone the birthday of Jesus if nothing changes for long term prosperity? My own journey received a major kick in the butt twelve years ago in earnest when I undertook participation in a foster care course in Virginia USA. All the materials I came in contact with proved to me without a shadow of doubt that I was a bigger jerk than I had thought I was; modesty aside what a shock to the system that was. It was not a matter about being a jerk to others as the main emphasis was about being a jerk to my source; my essence within and thus I knew change has to be a constant companion.
Sure I did nice things for lots of people but that was not the issue; the main issues I had never broached were those residing within. Our inner most thoughts beliefs and fears have more control on our life successes than we truly realise they have; thus self analysis is extremely apt. It is irrelevant for anyone to think: I am really nice' if introspection has never been experienced.
When I made the conscious effort to recognise them through introspection and self analysis then I was in a position to alter the poison and vitriol that resided within. If you spend a lot of time immersing yourself watching frivolous shows like soap operas there is a strong possibility you are depriving your psyche from growing. In fact you probably behave in similar fashion to many characters you may have empathy towards in the storyline of the soap opera.
There is a story in the Bible where one of the prophets walked into a garden and filled his bowl with berries then proceeded to make soup unknowing the berries were poisonous. When he and his friends tasted the soup they nearly puked thinking they would have to throw the soup away and try to find fresh healthy berries until one person stepped in to save the day. Another prophet suggested pouring flour into the mix and the poison would be replaced with healthy conditioning. Q: what forms of poison resides within you that may need some flour?
Healthy conditioning is a metaphor for faith and as your faith increases in your abilities so you too shall be able to add flour to the poisonous circumstances in your life. Thus you shall be able to create edible soup from the ingredients that you attracted in the first place; thus transmuting their energy towards positive energy.
Birthdays are a time when many people feel inclined to indulge with treats and other special pleasantries and all the fanfare of Christmas does add a level of mystique to a special birthday but this time perhaps make an effort to allow true feelings to emanate honestly and happily. God bless and celebrate your birthday every day and while you are at it celebrate Christmas daily too because every day is a gift where you always receive THE PRESENT!
