History
Amway was founded back in 1959 in the U.S by Rich DeVos and Jay Van Andel. Now Amway operates in over 80 countries worldwide and does 9 billion in global sales annually.
In 1999, Amway was branded as Quixtar. Quixtar's e-commerce business model allowed Independent business owners to sign up distributors, set up monthly auto ship of the company's products, and create a more convenient experience for everyone while still promoting Amway's products.
Quixtar also partnered with some big name retailers such as Dell, Barnes & Nobel, Bass Pro Shops, and Easter Seals just to name a few. This new business model at the time became immensely popular among Ibo's (Independent business owners) and customer's alike.
In 2008, Amway had decided to change from Quixtar to Amway Global to brand the Amway name worldwide with the continued business model and partner stores.

Overview
With Amway's financial stability and long presence in the network marketing industry, there is plenty of opportunity to earn a good part time or full time income.
Of course your success will depend upon a number of things; your relationship and training from your upline, your ability to stick through the business and persevere, and your downline that follows you.
Some of the top leaders in Amway have built their business strictly through word of mouth and face to face contacting. Just like any network marketing company, the more people you talk to, the more of a chance that you'll succeed.
Finding a way to have people come to you and leveraging the internet and social media along with training from a successful mentor is the key to even faster growth. This is huge when it comes to making your presence to a large number of people and becoming branded as a leader in this industry.
Your Success Matters!
Sincerely,
Lee Reffel
