iSymphony LC26iH56 26-Inch LCD HDTV Review
I got this TV on the lightning. And for what I paid, I got a good TV despite the stand drawback. It looks that a number of these TVs have a manufacturer defect that the stand won't screw into the tv as there's nothing within the hole for the threads to grip (as reviewer USAFDDS described). Mine had an equivalent issue. Since the TV has holes for wall mounting, and coping with makers rarely accomplishes something, we tend to determined to travel that route. i believed it might be useful and save others' a while to detail what we would have liked to induce the duty done:
1) VideoSecu Low Profile Ultra Slim TV Wall Mount for 19-37" LCD LED Plasma Flat Panel Screen show MP145B A11 - the most affordable stand we tend to may realize on-line with Prime shipping, and it will the duty.
2) The screws provided by iSymphony to connect the stand are too long (eg the holes within the TV to connect the stand are deeper than the holes used to connect a wall mount). we would have liked new screws with an equivalent thread size: Hillman M4- seventy x twelve (metric screws, I got them at Lowes)
3) Since the bracket for the wall mount is intended for larger diameter screws, we would have liked washers therefore the screws would hold the braces to the TV. 1/4 flat washers, AND #6 flat washers (the smaller ones to suit round the screws, and therefore the larger ones to carry the screw & little washer to the bracket).
In total, I spent an extra $20, that still created the TV virtually $100 cheaper than the other comparable I checked out. we tend to bought it to play xbox games (not tv) therefore I cannot treat the image quality of TV - however the games look fantastic. Overall, i'm terribly glad for what I paid. On the opposite hand, I don't assume this can be price quite $250 (and in no way the retail price).
