Uterine fibroids (also known as Uterine Leiomyoma, Fibroleiomyoma, Myoma, Fibromyoma) are a non-cancerous and benign tumors, seen most prominently in the uterus of women. It is a very common health issue amongst women, especially between the age group of 25 to 35 years. In rare cases, uterine fibroid tumor can also be found in females under age of 20 years.
