Clean your hands and nails thoroughly using a sanitizer and then push back the cuticles and remove the secondary skin from your nail plate. This can be done using a stainless steel or a plastic cuticle pusher. 2. Once this is done, take a 180 grit file and remove all shine from the nails and shape the free edge.
