Museum provides all the information about this paradise. Popularly known as the Japanese Cave and nicknamed Abyau Binsar" by the locals, where Abyau means Cave and Binsar means Grandmother is a place worth visiting for those interested in history. The Japanese Army used it as a hide out and logistic center. About 3000 Japanese soldiers are believed to have died inside. There are several kinds of guns and war weapons inside the caves. Binsar Wildlife Sanctuary is home to over 200 species of birds. Set up in in 1988 a large variety of flora and fauna can be found in this sanctuary that spreads over an area of 46 square kms.

You can come to Binsar at any time of the year, but avoid the monsoons completely. Binsar is lovely around October-November.
