One distinction which a potential owner has to make is between various design styles. Elegant, casual, fashionable or even gloriously glamorous - all can be very good choices as long as they go along with the personality of the owner and contribute to his or her positive image of self in society.A harder distinction to make when choosing between the many types of watch design is where casual stops and glamor begins. Glamorous designs catch the eye quicker; as such models are mostly targeted at the feminine audience. The touch of glamor results from the use of unusual colors for the dial, of strange odd shapes for the dial case, or from the use of precious stones to mark the location of numerals on the dial.
The line between glamor and kitsch is easily crossed nowadays, so unless you're sure enough about your choice and are positive that an apparently glamorous acquisition will not embarrass you in front of friends or partners, it is recommended to stick to the classics.
