Travel In Comfortable Luxury

Share: Getting away from your usual humdrum existence and embarking on a relaxing holiday is something that we all want to do
. The holiday will be fantastic but getting there can often be tedious. Whatever type of transport you are taking to get to your destination even if you have the luxury of flying in your own private jet the actual travelling part can be exhausting and uncomfortable. Thats why you need to think ahead and plan your travel wardrobe. The key is to ensure you dont trade style for comfort. Killer heels, tight boots and skinny jeans might be de rigour this season but ideal travel outfits they are not.
The first thing to think of is what sort of clothes you feel most comfortable in. Choose clothes in a lightweight material which fit you well there is no point in wearing anything that is a tight fit. Extremely tight clothing will make you feel uncomfortable and hot throughout your trip. They are also difficult to sleep in.When thinking of what sort of material to wear think of natural breathable fabrics think about linens, silks, cashmere, cottons and natural jerseys. These will all keep you cool and allow your body to feel more natural in the unnatural environment of a plane.
The second thing to consider is where you are heading to and therefore what you want on the plane and when you land in your destination. Whether you are heading to a warm or cold climate the key is learning the art of layering. That way you can take clothes off if you are too hot or layer up as required. Start with a basic long layering vest, and comfortable but flattering lounge trousers. Then one or two loose fitting top layers such as a classic T and jersey wrap. Cashmere is an ideal layer to finish with, with a large cashmere travel throw being indispensible perfect to snuggle up in, but elegant enough to look stylish too. And there is no need to think that just because you are wearing casual clothes you will look overly casual. There are lots of clothes available that are casual but elegant. For some great clothes which show comfortable luxury at its best go to meandem.com. After all just because you are travelling doesnt mean that you need to trade style for comfort.
