This adaptation of Disney's much loved film is a spectacular visual extravaganza and takes audiences of any age to a spectacular world filled with stunning effects, glorious colours, and enchanting music.

The show is a moving and powerful story of a wide eyed lion cub called Simba who embarks on an epic adventure into the wilderness of the Serengeti, cast out by his wicked uncle Scar. In a plot to overthrow Simba's farther, Mufasa off his throne, this musical is a rollercoaster of emotions as Simba meets many weird and wonderful friends. Together with his new friends, Timone and Pumba, Simba grows up and returns to pride lands to defeat his wicked uncle and regain what is rightly his, a superb theatrical adaptation of one of Disney's most spectacular, heart wrenching and popular films.

The Lion King tugs at the heart strings without being manipulative and starting from the opening scene with numerous beasts wandering between the stalls to Elton john's enchanting "Circle of Life", this show takes you on an emotional journey leaving you drained, but full of joy with the enevitable happy ending where Simba becomes of age and takes his rightful place as King of Pride Rock. This show will certainly keep you reaching for the tissues.
