Summer Is Ending But You Can Still Look Good
As summer is drawing to an end it's not great for sun worshippers however
, it is much more exciting for those who are interested or involved in the beauty industry. Each season tends to have its own set of colours and styles - mostly due in part to the weather. When the weather does begin to change this is when it can be difficult to maintain a look and picking the right style can be almost impossible - but this challenge is also what makes this time of year fun.A big trend that hit all of the catwalks over the summer was strong, well defined eyebrows. Designers the world over celebrated the creation of the 'power brow' and it has become a massive hit with not only models, but movie stars and celebrities.
Another big hit on the catwalk and it always seems to be, no matter what the season are luscious lips. This summer the trend has edged towards pastel colours, offering a soft finish as opposed to using stronger, more vivid colours.
Another staple look that seems almost timeless is long eyelashes. They can however, be overdone and this summer the trend has been to have long lashes that remain looking natural and not too 'over-the-top'. The natural look that has been seen on the lip area has carried on throughout the beauty trends this summer and it wouldn't be a surprise to see it continue throughout the rest of the year.
If you feel like you need a bit of colour in your overall look and aren't happy with the idea of using neutral or pastel colours, then the fashionable colour this year so far, has been purple. Purple has been a hit on the catwalks all through the summer for both formal wear and informal outfits. Matching a strong purple in your make-up with a matching accessory can add a dynamic edge to even the most straight forward of ensembles.
To achieve the best overall look it is important to match your make-up and clothing. Staying within what you are comfortable wearing is also important, being confident with your look is important if it is to work. If you do feel brave enough to try something new as the new fashions come in, it certainly isn't a bad time to experiment and who knows, you may re-invent your whole look with only a couple of changes.
As new clothes and make-up hit the shops it can be easy to get carried away and purchase items you will likely never wear, or only wear once. Use the new season for inspiration and shop around, but most of all, enjoy it!
