You don't like to go to the dentist

You don't like to go to the dentist. You have anxiety and would rather do just about anything, even stay at the office than visit your local dentist. Why do you think that is? Not only are you not mindful of the procedures you don't remember them at all. Sleep dentistry allows the dentist to accomplish several treatments in one visit. Six or even seven traditional visits can be accomplished in one appointment.

Do you have a hard time getting numb? Do you always feel like the dentist starts drilling before your teeth are good and anesthetized? That is no longer a problem, as traditional anesthetics aren't used. Who ever thought of a root canal as a great nap? No one did before now. You don't feel any pain or discomfort. You are in a deep, relaxed state yet are still conscience and responsive. You are constantly monitored and never left alone during you stay. Ultramodern electronic monitoring systems keep track of your vitals for your safety.

You are not given general anesthesia, like that given in a surgical center or hospital; it is no more dangerous than a sleeping pill. The effects will last from a couple of hours to several hours depending on the services needed. You will need someone to drive you home, as the drossiness will last longer than the procedures.
