Sing A Ma Jig Review 1
Thing A Ma Jig?....No!....Sing-A-Ma-Jig!!
These are another soon to be worldwide toy craze that every child is going to want to own. Do you remember the hot toy crazes of the past? There was the Beanie Baby, Furby, Tamagotchi and if you go as far back as the 80's there were the Cabbage Patch Dolls.
As a child you would remember the joy of receiving one of these toys but as an adult back then you would probably most remember the hell you went through to buy one of these toys! You will remember rushing around town going from one toy store to another trying to find a toy that hasn't already been sold out!
That is what happens with toy crazes. Every kid wants one and if you don't get in quick you will end up being one of those people running around town pulling your hair out.
So, here they are, the Fisher Price Sing-A-Ma-Jigs. I shall now run through exactly what these fun little toys actually are.
The first thing that surprises most people is the fact that these cute little toys have such a low price tag! Here is a toy that will keep a child entertained for hours on end and won't cost the parent an arm and a leg! Even if you bought all four of these Sing A Ma Jigs you would be paying just over $50for four toys!!!
So what are these amazing new toys? Well, simply put, they are four furry, cuddly little animals that sing and chatter away in their own cute language. Here is a toy that will keep your child amused freeing up time for you to go do your daily chores. You got yourself a mini babysitter there!
These new free-spirited, kooky animal characters will set off laugher and excitement with every interaction!
Each Fisher Price Sing A Ma Jig animal has a different color. There is the Blue Dog, Yellow Bunny, Red Bear and Pink Bear. They each have songs that they can sing in their own individual tones. For example, the Yellow Bunny Sing A Ma Jig has a deep base tone that blends in perfectly with the other animal tones when in Harmony Mode.
The current playlist for the Sing-A-Ma-Jigs are:
o Red - "Where Oh Where has My Little Dog Gone"
o Pink - "Skip to My Loo"
o Blue - "When the Saints Go Marching In"
o Yellow - "Home on the Range"
Just as with their voice tones each have their own fun, eye catching looks that is unique to each individual Sing A Ma Jig. Watch their mouths open wide when they sing each note. These little guys even have soft teeth!
Every Sing-a-ma-jig has three modes of play. There is Chatter Mode, Sing Their Own Song Mode or Sing in Harmony Mode. To activate each mode all you have to do is squeeze its left paw the determined amount of times until you find the mode of choice. So for Harmony Mode you may have to press the paw three times to activate it.
Once the mode is chosen just squeeze the cute furry Sing-A-Ma-Jig around its belly area and away you go! The toy is not automatic so will need to continuously press its belly in order for it to work.
1. Put it in Chatter Mode and when you pump its belly it will chatter away in its own cute language and in its own funny voice.
2. Put it in Sing My Own Song Mode and when you pump its belly it will begin to sing the song that is assigned to its playlist. Control the pace of the song by how you press the belly.
3. Put it in Harmony Mode and when you pump its belly it will perfectly harmonize, in a pitch specific to that character, with any other Sing A Ma Jig almost like they are in their own band. The more you collect, the larger the chorus, the better they sound.
