The Shiv Mandir was built as a dedication to the god Shiva. It is open to both visitors and devotees; it is a prime showcase of ambitious yet inspired architecture and design merged with religious beliefs and philosophies. The main attraction is a 65 foot high statue if the Lord Shiva, seconded by the largest sitting statue of the Lord Ganesha the famed elephant headed deity. The complex itself is centred on a calm pool of water which evokes a relaxed and calm atmosphere.
