There are two categories of people out there: those that like to plan their vacation
two months ahead and those that like to wait for last minute offers. How can we figure out which is the best way to have a great holiday?Some people like to plan their trips many months in advance. They can be easily spotted because they are the ones that visit the travel agencies in the middle of winter to book their summer holiday. However, we might say that they actually have the right key for successful vacations. Some agencies have some great deals if you decide to book a vacation in advance. Travel agencies also practice this and so, if we buy airplane tickets in advance we can get substantial price reductions.
Spending your holiday in May or September is the best way to make sure that you pay less for both transport and accommodation. This is because the season is just starting or just ending. And as such not many people are interested in going somewhere right now this is why agencies are more willing to offer discounts.
However, there are those that like to wait until the last minute so they can catch a discount. These are called last minute offers. A last minute offer is characterized by the fact that the agencies have to fill some places that have not been sold. At the beginning of each season the travel agency signs a contract with the hotel and the airline where it is stipulated that it has to bring a certain number of people. So the hotels and the travel agencies are willing to offer discounts. Also, the prices in the resorts are more reasonable than in August or July.

The great thing about this type of holiday is that you will be able to go on holiday at half the normal price.
The type of holiday is not important, however what is actually important is to have a good time and relax.
