Many years ago Earl Nightingale quoted: One hour a day of study in
your field is all it takes! Seriously, think about it, just one hour a
day of studying and you will have created the success you want in your
online home business?
That is probably really hard for anyone to believe, it was for me. We
all know it takes hard work, dedication, lots of action and most of
all persistence in order to become successful. One hour a day will not
cut it in todays online world.
But think for a moment what Earl Nightingale is really saying. One
hour a day of study! That does not mean that is all you have to do,
that means you need to STUDY for one hour.
He goes on to say that one hour of study per day will put you at the
top of your field within three years. In five years you will be a
National Authority, and in seven years, you will be one of the best in
the world at what you do. Remember again, he is talking only about
studying!
Read and Learn
What you need to do is read everything you can about having an online
home business. How and where to advertise, how and where to
communicate with people, all about search engine optimization, how to
use auto responders. The list can go on and on when it comes to
learning the latest about having an online business.
Ask the top leaders in your industry what they recommend reading. Then
go get those books and start reading them right away. When you are
done, ask other people that have an online home business what they
read, then go get those books too. Have a whole training arsenal
library in your own home.
Always continue to educate yourself, never be cheep when it comes to
education. Subscribe to a book club, subscribe to the online leaders
newsletters, subscribe to anything that has to do with your industry.
Invest In Yourself
Brian Tracy says to invest 3% of your annual income back into
yourself. Invest back into your own personal and professional
development. He also says if you only read one book per month that
will put you in the top 1% of income earners in our society.
Brain Tracy also says if you read one book a week, fifty books a year,
it will make you the best educated, smartest, most capable, and
highest paid person in your field. That reading on a regular basis
will transform your life completely.
All the top leaders see themselves as, a work in progress! They
never stop learning or they would be left behind, especially when it
comes to the internet. The internet is one of the fastest changing
industries there is, thanks to technology.
The top leaders are always striving for bigger and better, the more
knowledge, the better. They never sop learning, they commit to a
lifelong process of education. They know and understand that if they
want to make it in the online world, they have to stay ahead of
everyone else in their field. The only way to do this is with
education.
Start creating your library of education, read one hour everyday in
your industry and watch how successful your online home business
becomes!
