OK so it's not Ibiza or Cyprus but the nightlife here certainly isn't dull. There's no one major nightlife centre but when accommodating millions of British, Irish and European tourists you're going to find a watering hole without much trouble! Generally speaking alcohol in the Algarve is quite cheap with bottles of wine from 2 in most supermarkets. The price in bars and cafes is reasonable also with decent measures of spirits from 3 and 2 for a draft beer.
