The third entry moves the series from Baltimore to New York
, where "Step Up 2's" Moose (Adam Sevani) is about to start as an NYU freshman. Moose is supposed to be focused on an engineering degree, but within hours of arriving meets a team of dancers called the Pirates.Their leader is Luke (Rick Malambri), who runs a loftlike club/rehearsal space in Brooklyn.
