Microdermabrasion A Brisbane Day Spa Guide To Microdermabrasion

Want to know how Microdermabrasion works? At 5th Avenue Beauty & Day Spa Brisbane

our clients love having youthful skin with surgery! Just quietly the teams at 5th Avenue Beauty & Day Spa Brisbane dont mind looking a little younger using Microdermabrasion.

Below you will see how the teams at Brisbanes leading Day Spa conduct Microdermabrasion treatments. In our Brisbane Day Spa we treat our clients aged from age 18 to late 90s with Microdermabrasion. It is excellent for reducing acne scaring and also reducing ageing (who doesnt want do look at bit younger?).

Microdermabrasion is a procedure where fine crystals are used to abrade the surface of the skin in order to stimulate the dermis, remove dead skin cells, skin debris and at the same time, stimulate the production of collagen, elastin and fresh new skin cells. Great for pigmentation -age spots, acne and acne scarring, dull, congested, thickened skin, scar tissue, fine lines and wrinkles. You won't believe how soft and smooth your skin feels. We recommend a course of Microdermabrasion for excellent results.

Check out the 5th Avenue Beauty & Day Spa Brisbane Microdermabrasion Treatment below:

1.We go through the treatment and what it entails with the client, ask them about their concerns and what results they wish to get. Let them know what you expect them to use for home care products. (cleanser, lotion, some form of glycolic or retinol, reactive care cream) advise them on the right course amount and explain the % off but more so how it locks them into getting results.

2.Place a head cap on the client covering the ears

3.Cleanse with the phyto gel cleanser/ 2x if they have make up on

4.Apply the AHA/BHA mask to the face and neck, if the client is uncomfortable with the tingling fan the face. Leave on for 5 -7 min

5.Remove aha/bha mask with sponges and make sure it is totally removed

6.Letting the client know to hold their breath, wipe over the face with an alcohol wipe.

7.Put on gloves and give the client a tissue

8.Micro with the crystals all over the face

9.Turn the crystals up a bit and target problem areas (do not go around the eye area with the crystals)

10.Change to the right diamond head and micro where needed on air pressure of 4 , turn the pressure to 2 for the neck are and eyes

11.Perform extractions( be thorough this is the time to really clean up the skin)

12.Zap with HF if needed. Wipe over the skin with cotton pad with RS2 lotion

13.Apply the Hydrating mask warn the client that it will be very cold

14.Leave for 10 min

15.Before removing the mask slightly massage in any remaining mask product

16.Hot towel off any excess and apply the reactive cream and sun screen 30 +

After the treatment:

1.WE call the client 3 days after the treatment to see if they have any concerns or questions

2.Explain to the client what creams (reactive) to use and when for the two weeks following

I hope the above makes you a better Beauty Salon staff member. If you are in Brisbane and would like to try Microdermabrasion at an experienced Brisbane Beauty Salon then please drop us a line.
