Make the Most of Bedtime with Bespoke Childrens Beds

Trouble getting the kids to bed? Often, it seems that all children want to do at bed time, is hang around in the "adult" areas of the house. They seem to feel that by going to bed they could be missing something important, something exciting something, on other words, more interesting than climbing the wooden stairs to sleep. Which, if they have normal "off the peg" style beds, they probably are. Trick them out with bespoke childrens beds instead novelty beds, themed beds, interestingly designed beds and they'll be falling over themselves to get there.
A child's bedroom really ought to be full of interesting stuff: things to stimulate, entertain and of course to keep them quiet. Generally speaking, they are but then one comes to the bed, a boring old mattress and frame where nothing happens except sleep. That's not good enough for a child, to whom everything in the world is new and exciting: why go to bed when there are colourful things, and noisy things, to play with? Childrens beds repeatedly let their parents down at the most important hurdle of all (why else do we spend so much of our parenting time talking about "getting the children down" or persuading them to "settle"?), because they provide no stimulation.
Think back to their first beds. Cots or cribs are built with stimulation in mind. They often come painted in bright colours, with interesting carvings or shapes as part of the design. Most cots have mobiles and other baby toys built in, suspended over the prostrate baby to take its attention away from the fact that it has just been (in its mind) abandoned in bed. Cots, of course, are the first childrens beds a baby will ever sleep in which means that he or she will get used to being entertained whilst in them. So why remove that entertainment once the child has outgrown the cot?
Putting a bespoke bed a bed made to interest, entertain and even encourage further mental development in a child's room can dramatically increase parents' chances of successfully getting the little darlings off to sleep at the end of the day. In other words, they can represent a decisive blow in the ongoing battle between parents and kids that revolves around every bedtime. Childrens beds, made to fit a room's theme or colour scheme, with built in toys or even just an interesting shape, turn that whole room back into the cot the child remembers from when he or she was a baby. Bedtime becomes absorbing again stimulating and the child respond by going willingly at the end of every day.
Sounds nice, doesn't it. Funny thing is, it's pretty simple when you think about it. Take the stimulation away, as we all do when we move baby out of his or her cot and into a "grown up" bed, and you take away the calming influence of interest. Bring it back, with bespoke childrens beds, and the whole of a child's room remains a place of play, intrigue and fun.
