Another unique feature of this initiative has been to earmark a budget for implementing this initiative. The budget in addition to the financials also stipulates the physical targets. The blue print has detailed targets along the time lines and thus it becomes a useful turnaround work document.
The various departments have been assigned the additional task of supporting this initiative HR has been majorly impacted as it has been tasked to source and recruit qualified professionals to drive this portal enterprise. The advertising team (along with external agency) has been tasked to integrate portal business with the existing lines of business. The sales team also participates by compiling additional details of the existing and new customers.
The consultants propose to run an assessment workshop six months down the line and make a report to the management re the performance at this venture.
