At that point, all you need to do is use these free tools to help get your business going.
That all sounds quite easy, doesnt it? This process does work, but your chances of converting your traffic into sales is very low. In other words, you may have to get hundreds, maybe even thousands of people to visit your affiliate sales page before you ever see your first sale. Looking at it that way, those really arent very good odds.
But in retrospect, that is what most people do. They spend a lot of time and effort getting all of those people to that affiliate sales page. They finally make a sale and earn some commission for it. But it doesnt stop there! With some affiliate programs, you dont get paid until you have at least 50 or even 100 dollars in commissions. So now, back at it again to get another sale and finally (eventually) get paid. Wow, what a hassle!
But dont give up quite yet! Internet marketing is a great way to make extra money, but you have to know some of the secrets. So, here is one of those secrets: Do Not Advertise Your Affiliate Program Directly! There is a process to this, and here are some suggestions.
The very first thing you must do is provide something of value to your potential customers. The easiest thing you can give away is information. So give your prospects a special report or even an eBook (folks really love eBooks!).
Next, dont give away your free information until you get an email address. You need a name and email address in order to implement the next step.
If the information you are providing is good and helps others, you will earn some trust. So when you have the prospects name and email address, you can send them a steady flow of information to keep them interested.
HERE IS YOUR PAYOFF! If you have been providing good content and earning trust from your prospects, it is much more likely that they will buy from you (this works really well if the product or service is something you have purchased and used yourself!).
So, in summary, make sure you provide something of value to your prospects, dont give away your info until you get an email address, earn the trust of your people, and MAKE THAT SALE!
