Jaisalmer Fort - Jaisalmer fort is the second oldest in Rajasthan. Two hundred and fifty feet tall and reinforced by imposing crenellated sandstone wall 30 feet high; it has 99 bastions, 92 of which were built between 1633 and 1647. Wells within the fort still provide a regular source of water. Even today, you will find that nearly one fourth of the old city's population resides within the fort. Jaisalmer Fort still houses some 2,000 residents, which makes it India's last "living fort." (India's other famous forts are abandoned, except for tourist guides.) This, too, draws visitors to Jaisalmer.

Desert National Park - It is an excellent ecosystem and covers a total area of about 3162 square km and was notified a National park in the year 1980. The National park is rich in diverse varieties of fauna, important among them include the Chinkara, Desert Hare, Blackbuck, Desert Snake, fox and vultures.
