The Champaner Pavagadh Archeological park is a Unesco World heritage site which is located in the district of Panchmahal in Gujarat, India. This place was also inscribed in the year two thousand and four. There is a huge concentration of what seems to be largely excavated historical and cultural heritage properties which have been nicely cradled into what seems to be an overly impressive landscape, like you one you would like with a little travel dope; which has prehistoric sites here in the Archaeological park.
This place is a large hill fortress which used to earlier be a huge site for Hindu Temples. These remain to be the capital of Gujarat in the sixteenth century. This place also includes many sites; there are vestiges with fortification, religious buildings, palaces and many residential precincts. There are many agricultural structures and large installations of water pumps and such. These go all the way from the eight century all the way to the fourteenth century.
There is a kalimata temple which is right on the Pavagadh hill. This place is considered to be quite an important shrine. It is responsible for attracting many pilgrims all through the year, which makes for just good travel dope. The site in fact is quite incomplete. And is an Islamic Mughal city which is quite unchanged.
Share: The world heritage site which is called Champaner Pavagadh is not more than an hours drive from Baroda. The history of this site dates all the way from the second century and included ruled from the Rajput Hindu times, the Jains and Islamic sections and such. These are spread around six kilo meters. There are scared hills here which are well fortified. This place at its summit has the Kalimata Temple. And at its foot, it has the Champaner ruins and remains buried. The medieval, prosperous and sprawling city was built my pre Mughal sultans who resided here in Gujarat.
The Archaeological Park has an impressive setting. And the Pavagadh hill has a lovely red- yellow dash to it. These contain some of the oldest rock formation in all of India. It is almost located at eight hundred meters above sea level. The land here sloped gently in the east, and lovely plateaus come into view, which makes for amazing travel dope.
