Nominal exchange rate means the value at which you can trade the currency of one country with currency of some other country.
Since currency rates change from country to country, they make tourism more attractive. You can easily travel to different countries if you know about the currency exchange rates. If you are traveling to multiple countries, then you must keep an eye on their currency exchange rates. Traveling to various counties in Europe is easier since they all use Euro, so things are not as complicated. But you need to keep an eye on Euro Exchange rates and plan your trip when Euro is not soaring too high.
