Cheap Car Insurance, Please Santa!
A lot of things in life are free (la la la la) but you can give them to the birds and bees, I want money (la la la la la la) that's what I want (la la la) - as I was listening to this song on the radio whilst on my way back from work, I realized how close to home these phrases actually are!
We go to the office each day, driving in cars which are probably still owned by the bank, outfitted in clothing that cost a great deal of money, just to go home at the end of the month with (with any luck) enough funds to pay for the home we reside in and to put meals on the table. And after that, everyone wants a portion of the little bit that's left of our hard-earned pie!
Share: So dear Father christmas, my Xmas wish list this year looks a little something like this:
For my car, cheap insurance would great! I already shell out lots of money on my motor vehicle installment, fuel money every month and a service now and then. At the rate things are going I could soon be required to sell my car and take the bus to work. A thought so frightening that I want to cry! So in support of my car, cheap insurance please Santa! At least then I can easily rest assured that we (my car and I of course!) will be completely covered in the case of a car accident.
For my home, a 12 month supply of all-you-can-use water and electricity would be wonderful! For a whole year I don't want to switch of the light each time I leave the room or only bath in a little bit of water. No, I wish to leave all the lights burning the entire day and have a lavishly lengthy bubble bath just about every night. and mornings too! And come to think of it, if you have stock left Santa, a floor that picks up after my partner and washes and polishes itself would also come in handy!
For myself, no hunger pains please! I've come to the conclusion that having to eat is time consuming and pricey. The time I will be able to save by not having to sit down and eat can be better spent on the golf course, or perhaps in the swimming pool. And the monthly food money can certainly be utilized for something exciting, such as an overseas vacation or a spa bath in the backyard! And if they create a device that dresses you in the morning and brushes your pearly whites, I would really like 1 of those too please! (Either that, or a time travel device, you can choose!)
Then I would also like an university education for my five kids, a loose-weight-quickly tablet that actually works, enough devices and cool gadgets to keep my hubby busy over weekends. and maybe a sail yacht or two.
As my letter draws to an end I assume I must wake up and smell reality. But Santa, for my car, cheap insurance would be great!
