Callaway FT-iZ Hybrids Break Through Your Speed Barrier
In order to provide golfers with all the distance, accuracy and versatility they could ever want from a hybrid, Callaway engineers incorporated advanced Fusion Technology in their most forgiving hybrid design ever. The larger, high MOI clubheads combine a stainless steel body and sole with injection-molded high-density weights for shots that fly high and far and land soft.
Callaway Golf used Advanced Fusion Technology to make the new Callaway FT-iZ hybrids a highly forgiving group of hybrid clubs that give you excellent distance and accuracy as well as being very versatile clubs.
A 32 person panel of players, retailers, golf equipment editors, and scientists from Golf Digest were so impressed with the FT-iZ hybrids that they designated them with the Gold Medal Hybrid distinction in their 2010 Hot List.
The fusion technology used in Callaway Ft-iZ hybrids uses a multi-metal process that combines a stainless steel body and sole with high density weights. These weights maximize the perimeter weighting giving the golf club a higher moment of inertia and an optimized center of gravity.
This is what causes the ball to launch on a high and long trajectory - and fly farther with a softer landing.
The larger clubhead design makes the FT-iZ hybrids more stable at impact and increases accuracy and performance while providing greater forgiveness.
Callaway has made the clubface thicker in the center and very thin around the edges. This allows more energy to be transferred to the golf ball at impact - that means greater distance more consistently for you.
