At an elevation of 9,017 feet, the Dillon Yacht Club proudly notes that it is the "highest yacht club in North America." The club has an active sailing program, and its yearly Dillon Open is widely acknowledged as the state's ultimate sailing event.
Motorboats share the lake's strikingly blue water with their wind-powered cousins. Boat rentals can be arranged at marinas in both Dillon and Frisco Bay, depending on which side of the lake you want to depart from.
