The only plant protien fibre usable today is Soy Protien Fibre (SPF). Soy Protien Fibre (SPF) is made from soy bean cake. After it is extracted, the residue is used as a stock feed.

Soybean Protein Fibre is a sustainable and pure textile fibre made from renewable and biodegradable organic resources - the remaining soybean mush from tofu and soymilk creation. There are many amino acids which are very nourishing and nutritional for your skin. The fiber forms a green/yellow textile fabric that is better to many natural and synthesized fibers.

Soybean fiber is a velvety, light, and smooth protein fiber. It is smoother than cashmere and has the same moisture absorption as cotton but with a better moisture transmission, making it more comfortable on the skin. It is hydroscopic, air pervious, soft, smooth, dry and has better warmth retention that's equivalent to wool.

Synthetic fiber properties are almost identical to the properties of Soy Protien Fibers. Fabrics made from Soy Protien Fibers retain the following features:

Easy care: Fabric made from Soybean Protien Fiber is easy to wash and dries quickly. It does not crease easily.

Luster: Soybean Protien Fiber has the lustre of silk.

Absorbency: Soybean Protien Fiber has the same moisture absorption qualities as cotton but transmits moisture better.

Comfort: Fabric made from Soybean Protien Fiber is soft and smooth. It is also lightweight.

When Soybean Protien Fibre is mixed with cotton, you get a very natural, natural fabric that is very gentle on the skin and has a very low carbon footprint.
