The best way to show off a great pair of shoes during sandal season on vacation or to a special event is to have lovely feet
. There is no need to go to a salon you can do the same at home. Invite a few friends over have a glass of bubbly and a chat and give your feet a treat. Next time you go out and show them off you will be glad you had a home pedicure. There are a few things to remember in regard to the care of our feet.
Wash Your Feet
We need a wash daily so do our feet, and make sure that feet are dried well to cut risk of infections. Wear clean socks and panty hose daily if we need a wash so do our clothes.
Moisturise Your Feet
Moisturise your feet daily especially in warm climates or on vacation when wearing sandals regularly. Use a special foot cream to help cracked heels.
Look out for problems
Don't wear ill fitting shoes as this can give you bunions and wear new shoes every other day to avoid blisters. If you have diabetes regularly go to a podiatrist or a chiropodist as blood flow problems can cause nerve ending and blood vessel damage. If you have anything unusual go and get it checked out by your doctor.

Foot scrub
Peppermint oil lotion
Do it yourself home pedicure
Remove old nail polish
Trim nails and file nails straight across
Soak feet in a tub of hot water with scented oil
Exfoliate feet with a scrub
Rub calluses with a pumice stone or a foot rasp
Rinse off in the hot water
Soothe feet with peppermint oil lotion
Paint nails with fresh polish
Now your feet will look great in any pair of shoes you wear.
