Sprawling over 2.5 km, the fort has two gates; Delhi gate and Amar Singh gate. Sikandra
Located only 13 km from Agra Fort, Sikandra is famous for the tomb of the Mughal Emperor Akbar. He was the most secular ruler of his time and this fact beautifully reflects in his own mausoleum which incorporates Hindu, Islamic, Christian, Buddhist and Jain designs and motifs. The tomb is called Sikandra and has three storied red sandstone minarets.
Fatehpur Sikri
Established by Mughal Emperor Akbar, Fatehpur Sikri is a city famous for the tomb of a Sufi Saint Salim Chisti. The mosque at this city resembles the mosque at Mecca and draws many a devotees from far and wide. With the blessings of the saint Akbar got his first heir who was named as Salim after the saint.
