The Royal Pavilion Christmas Ice Rink in Brighton offers outdoor fun for the whole family, plus a warming restaurant right next to the rink. Extras include a beginners' area and skate aids for young children. The rink has hours into the evening--the backdrop of the Royal Palace is especially lovely at night. Father Christmas trips are available on the Chichester Ship Canal. The hour long ride includes meeting Father Christmas and holiday food and drink.
