With the location of the Canary Islands close location to the north of Africa it's some wonder why one of the islands doesn't offer a ferry service over for a day. Well that day is here, Lanzarote has set up a ferry to take people to the port of Tarfaya in Morocco. The option of direct flights was always available between the two countries but the idea of a ferry over is much more attractive as you get to sail over the Atlantic Ocean.The small stretch of water was generally used for freight traffic for import export goods such as fruits. Whilst this helped both economies there will be a much more significant improvement due to this new influx of tourists coming either way. The earnings per year could easily rise to an extra million or so for each destination just with the simple offer of a day trip to another country.
