U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) is hosting a National Children's Art Project. Children aged between 5 and 12 years as of September 11, 2010 from all over the United States can create artwork based on the theme, "We Are America." The artwork is also required to answer the question posed: "People have come from all over the world to become Americans. Why does that make us great?" In collaboration with public libraries and other community-based organizations that assist America's immigrant communities in this summer, USCIS will work on the National Children's Art Project. The entries will be exhibited in all USCIS offices across the country. On September 11, 2010, the participants will be recognized in the commemoration of the National Day of Service and Remembrance. Submission forms for the National Children's Art Project can be obtained from the nearest USCIS office or can even be downloaded from www.uscis.gov/childrensartproject.
