It's funny how many ads I see on the internet that speak negatively about MLM Business
. Most of the people that say this are people that have failed time and time again. They really don't understand what multi level marketing is truly about so they just choose to bash it. I do understand they're frustrations because I was one of those people but ignorance is what it boils down to.This Is Not A MLM Business So Don't Worry About Getting Scammed!
When I surf through Craigslist I see tons of ads that are pitching they're businesses and in the ad they are stating that this is not a Multi Level Marketing opportunity. Scam is also mentioned in the ad as well which is unfortunate because most MLM companies are not scams. I will admit that there are some bad eggs out there that do give it a bad name but that is a very slim percentage.
So why do people say MLM's are Scams and they don't work?
The main reason people say MLM's are scams and they don't work is because they don't make any money. Most people expect to make a ton of money in a short amount of time with little to no effort and that's never the case. Lets face the facts, there are many reasons why people don't make money with a MLM Business. Let me break it down so you can understand why people think this way and how you can avoid the same mistakes.
Here are some of the reasons why people fail in a MLM Business:
1. MLM stands for Multi Level Marketing which means you need other people to help you become successful but it all tarts with YOU. Before you can be successful with a MLM you must know what it means and how it works. The meaning is simple but how it works is what you have to find out from whatever company you join.
2. You must have the right mindset to make your business successful. People treat their business like a hobby. YOU are the key to your own success because no one is going to do it for you. You must take charge, believe in yourself and your business.
3. Lack of training and mentoring is something that is missed all the time. You need continuous training and mentoring to help your business. People join multi level marketing companies and start using the system without the proper training. You want a mentor or mentors that are experienced who can provide guidance and feedback.
4. This is probably the most important reason, you MUST know how to market your business. If you don't know how to market then you surely won't make any money period. Use marketing methods like video marketing, article marketing, social networking and many others to choose from. That is where the training and mentoring come into play.
5. Stay focused and never quit. Many people get distracted because they think the grass is greener on the other side. They company jump instead of focusing on one project. The same problems will exist if you jump from one company to the next. Building a business is never easy but is very satisfying if you work through the bumps and bruises to come out successful.
A MLM Business can be very profitable if worked properly. There are many people that are earning full time incomes and I'm not just talking about six figure earners. You don't have to make the big bucks in order to be successful in multi level marketing. If you learn the fundamentals and implement them and stay consistent then you have a great chance to make it in the MLM industry. This business if very legit and works like gang busters.
