What To Do When The BBB Bashes Your Home Business
The Better Business Bureau has a job to do and that is keep us safe from unsavory business practices. And let's face it, the Network Marketing industry has had it's fair share of those.
So how do you prove that you are part a legitimate opportunity when the BBB and the press are bashing home based businesses?
Simple- you don't have to!
If you have to prove to your prospect that this is a real industry with the real opportunity for huge amounts of wealth, you are talking to the wrong prospect!
Sure you need to have the facts about your company and why someone would want to join, but if you are explaining about pyramid and ponzi schemes and why your business is different- then you need to walk away right then and there.
The person that asks those questions has NO IDEA what this industry is about and if they need to be convinced of it's legitimacy then they need to do some research on their own first.
They are simply not qualified to be part of your business.
We call these people opportunity seekers.
What you need to look for is an opportunity buyer. A person that doesn't need to be convinced or persuaded. Someone that is looking for the right business for them and is willing to invest to get it.
If you talk to opportunity buyers it doesn't matter what the Better Business Bureau (BBB), the press or even the neighbors have to say. They already know what is involved and are ready to take on any challenge to make it work.
So forget the BBB and the bad press our industry has gotten over the years. Find a company that you believe in, that has a strong business plan, experienced executives, solid financial backing and products that people love to use everyday. Then get out and find some business opportunity buyers to talk to about it.
