In today's world, by far the Internet has become the most widely used phenomena in the marketing any kind of business thus creating and developing a website plays a vital role in selling or promoting your product. So it becomes all the more important to develop your website in such a manner that it is attractive enough to get the attention of potential customers so they will keep coming back to your website for their product or service needs.

Website is the mirror of one's business to the world. It can make or break a business. Rather it wouldn't be wrong to say that a website determines the success of your business. While sitting in the comfortable environment of your office or home you could potentially reach millions of buyers in different continents across the globe through. The design of the website should reflect what the business is all about and how it aims to help the user or buyer with a single glance. Using proper SEO methods and techniques you will be able to increase the rating of your website on various search engines. The following are few pointers that should be kept in mind while developing that precious website.
Firstly the website should be easy to navigate. It should be created in such a manner that it is not complicated for the user who is not internet savvy.
Secondly, the WebPages must be well linked. There should be direct links between all the documents and WebPages, making it easily accessible to the viewers.
Thirdly, your website should not be designed using harmonious color schemes. If notit would only result in distracting and/or dissatisfying your visitors. The choice of colors should be done with expertise and thoughtfully.
Fourthly, the font chosen should be such that it makes the website more attractive and text easy to read. The standard calls for not more then 3 font type on a page.
Fifthly, the background color against the color of the font. In rare cases you will use black font on a white background as this is too contrasting for the eye to read especially on very bright computer screens. Use dark gray color for the font on white. Never use highly contrasting combinations like yellow on blue or vice versa, etc.
Sixthly, your website should contain enough number of keywords related to your website theme.
Flash or html
Another consideration is not to over use flash design in your webpages. Flash base websites do not have an universal application as they tend to work well on broad band connections and are sloppy to the point of annoyance on slow internet connections. If you however decide to go for a flash website then your best option is to hire a website designer who would advice you on how to make a website best suited for your audience. Off course such a service would come at a cost. You should be ready to pay for what is worth or do-it-yourself if you have a time. Remember though that whatever you choose it should increase your business flow and not take you from and your valuable time from it.
