Water Filter Vacuum
Vacuum cleaners was an excellent creation which revolutionized the cleaning process
. They use an air pump to make partial vacuum, thereby sucking up dirt and debris from the ground and carpets. The dust is collected by a filtration system into bags and then disposed. However, while in the 1920s, another variation of this device, which used water filtration method, was released into the market. Vacuum cleaners with water filters force the intake of air to go through water before getting exhausted. The concept behind this system is that wet dust can't be airborne, and do not spread into the encircling air.
Water filter vacuum cleaners comprise a vacuum body containing a dust chamber along with a suction assembly. The dust chamber contains a dust collector assembly, that is made of a dust collection seat and an upper cap. The dust collection seat is split into two compartments: filter chamber with water and airflow chamber. These chambers are connected to one another via an airflow duct.
The suction assembly generates a suction airflow which sucks dust particles into the airflow chamber, which then passes into the filter chamber via the airflow duct. The dust and airborne particles get sucked up by water in the filter chamber. Water being heavier than the air particles, is not carried back into the airflow that is discharged back to the space, through the outlet. Thus, all the dust and debris from the floor is trapped while in the water, and is not released back into the space air. This water filter vacuum cleaner not only removes the dust, but also sucks up bacteria, mold, germs, pollen along with bad odor.
This appliance is rather like a regular dry vacuum cleaner, with the difference in the water addition. Water has to be added while in the tank provided and must be discarded after vacuuming. Compared to dry vacuum cleaners, these water filter ones can be used on dry or wet messes, and have no bags that need replacing. All one has to do is, get rid of the dirty water, by pouring it out.
They also capture allergens like bacteria, dust mites, fine dust, pollen and fungus and don't release them back to the air. In the traditional type, the allergens sucked are transferred into the air again. Water filter vacuum cleaners with HEPA True Filtration system, feature additional power to remove allergens from the ground, rugs and carpets. Thus, these appliances are quite beneficial to people who are allergic.
Despite these advantages, the water filter vacuum cleaners were not favored by people. This is because they were bulky and required a lot of strength to move them around. The water in the cleaner tank weighs more than expectations. Lifting the tray with dust filled water from your cleaner and discarding it requires physical strength. Senior citizens and people with disabilities find these appliances cumbersome.
Vacuum cleaner companies realized the disadvantages of this model and came up with newer versions of these water filtration appliances. The latest water filter commercial vacuum cleaners are light weight, small, compact, powerful and are gaining popularity once again.
While selecting a
water filter vacuum cleaner, one must consider the time it takes to assemble and dismantle the assembly. Moreover, one should look for tool accessories that help reach the corners and difficult areas. The size of this water tank should not be too small, or else frequent changing of dirty water might be required. Look out for long cords and clear hoses as well.
