There are a few other differences; for instance the camera is only a 5 mega pixel effort as apposed to the 8 mega pixels on the Vivaz, you still get full Social Network integration, a multi media player, and a web browser, the phone has tons of e-mail and messaging support and boasts a responsive 3.2 inch nHD resistive touch screen.The Vivaz Pro looks almost identical to the Vivaz while the keyboard is hidden away; the same modernized design, the same menu, call and terminate buttons and the same curved chassis for ultimate comfort while handling, the QWERTY keyboard only adds a few millimetres on to the waistline and it extra weight is barely noticeable, the phone is available in both white and black. Much like its predecessor the Vivaz Pro utilises the Symbian S60 operating system, the home screen offers up a chain of five pages you can swipe through, each screen delivers something different to the experience and they can all be customized to suite your needs.
A nice 720MHz processor sends you from page-to-page quite briskly, the touch user interface is as you would expect from the Symbian OS, it is not dazzling but it will do the job you ask it to and the resistive screen is responsive enough not to hamper your experience. It comes well equipped with both Wi Fi and 3G internet connections, so you can surf the web from practically anywhere, the Vivaz Pro is YouTube compatible so you can check out your favourite video clips uploaded from around the world or upload some videos of your own and the great Facebook app integrates your online account with your phone, you can send messages, edit your profile, update your status and check out your friends updates too. Other sites like Twitter are also compatible, you can handle your profile online, make tweets and see tweets from friends, and the Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro supports all of your social network activity with its reliable 3G connectivity and QWERTY keyboard, and the curved chassis makes the phone comfortable to hold whilst operating in landscape mode thanks to the in-built accelerometer.
Despite the Vivaz Pro only having a mid range 5 mega pixel camera, it can still shoot HD video; they look great on the nHD display and can be uploaded to your social networks and YouTube. The phone has a very good music player, the Walkman interface is a vast area where you can make use of kinetic scrolling to check out your song lists, the phone is backed up by a microSD card slot which will comfortably take cards up to 32GB, this gives you plenty of potential storage space for music, video and photos. There is a 3.5mm jack located on the side of the handset, it allows you to plug in and listen via your favourite headphones and the Bluetooth technology enables wireless file transfer between you and your friends.
The Sony Ericsson Vivaz Pro looks great and delivers plenty of support for messaging with its QWERTY keyboard and e-mail integration and plenty of support for entertainments with its HD video recorder and superb Walkman interface.
