The Root Canal Pain And Experience

Share: If there is one thing that I don't like to visit
, it would be a dentist. I know, they help you get rid of the thing that bothers your teeth. You get to visit them at least every six months to get your teeth clean. But if you have tooth that needs to be fix, that is the time you get to do extra visit to your dentist. If you do what your dentist always tell you which is to brush your teeth at least three times a day, you won't have any problems. Also, you need to floss every night to get rid of those dental plaques from your teeth. I don't have a problem brushing my teeth, but flossing was something that I took for granted.
Before, I don't use floss even if my dentist keeps telling me to use them. One reason I don't floss is that I'm lazy flossing my teeth. The fact that you need to floss every single tooth makes me don't want to do them after all. But that all changed when some of my teeth got damaged really bad, I was forced to lose them by performing an extraction on both of my teeth. Left and right by the way. Now, my teeth are starting to get out of place so that's why I can't afford to lose another one. But it seems like I'm having another problem in my upper left tooth.
I went to a dentist near my work to have her check my tooth. Turns out I have an abscess which is causing the pain. She gave me two options that by the way, are not covered by my company's health insurance. Option one is do a root canal for the tooth in order to get rid of the abscess. The second one is performing an extraction and putting a jacket in order for the other teeth not to be out of place. Until now I'm still thinking what option I should choose actually. They say even though root canal is painful and expensive, it's the best option because I get to keep my tooth, even though it's already dead.
According to the website I have read the term "root canal" conjures terrible images in most people's minds. You keep hearing the horror stories about how much they hurt, or that they didn't work, or that they are expensive." The reason why it hurts like hell is because the procedure those dentists will do is either clean or pull out the nerve of the tooth that is in pain. That is why after the procedure, your tooth now is considered dead since there is no longer a nerve in that tooth. It is also expensive because the procedure that they will do is not easy and should be careful in performing it.
