What is drunk driving?
The term drunk driving can be misleading. Some people have their own definition on what drunk is. You may not think youre drunk but you can still be charged with DUI. Oklahoma operates under a law called implied consent law. If you have been pulled over for suspicion of DUI you agree to a blood, breath, or chemical test to determine if you are under the influence of alcohol or drugs. If you refuse to take these tests the police officer can seize your drivers license and you will be scheduled to appear in court for a hearing.
There are four different ways that a person may be charged with DUI:

Driving under the influence of drugs
Driving under the influence of both alcohol and drugs
Driving with a Blood Alcohol Concentration of .08 or higher
