Nfl Tickets - Week 6 Preview
The Indianapolis Colts, New York Giants, Minnesota Vikings
, New Orleans Saints and Denver Broncos are all still undefeated teams in the NFL after Week 5 of the regular season, and even though the Colts have a bye in Week 6, there are still plenty of thrilling games sure to go down on Sunday, Oct. 18, when the heated football action continues in the regular season. Fans with NFL tickets online are sure to get their kicks at one of several games this week, and here are the top matchups to look out for in Week 6.
New York Giants vs. New Orleans Saints: Eli Manning and his Giants will travel to New Orleans' Superdome to face Drew Brees and the Saints in Week 6, and the outcome of this game will give one of these two teams its first loss of the season. The 5-0 Giants have cruised to an undefeated season so far thanks to wins over the Washington Redskins, Dallas Cowboys, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Kansas City Chiefs, but have any of these teams provided respectable enough competition to the former Super Bowl champs? Their strengths will be tested when the Saints come marching in, and the Giants know they have to play better than their New York counterparts the Jets played against New Orleans to come out with the big win. Look to this game to provide some of the most intense action we've seen from NFL teams so far this season.
Chicago Bears vs. Atlanta Falcons: Remember last year's Bears-Falcons matchup? The Bears sure do, and the sting from that surreal last-second loss will kick back up this weekend as Chicago and Atlanta meet at the Georgia Dome in Week 6 play. Both teams are 3-1 so far this season, but with the Bears having a bye last week, they're going into Week 6 fresh and looking for revenge. The Falcons, though, are coming off a huge 45-10 win against the San Francisco 49ers, and if Matt Ryan and Co. play like that against the Bears, this Chicago-Atlanta melee will most certainly be one worth watching to the bitter end.
Denver Broncos vs. San Diego Chargers: This AFC West matchup is the Monday night game for a reason in Week 6. The undefeated Broncos have done nothing but rise up the power rankings ever since they stepped foot onto the field this year under the leadership of Josh McDaniels, and their Week 5 win against the New England Patriots was a huge one for Denver. San Diego, on the other hand, is coming off a bye week, and the Chargers need to win this game to gain back the respect they may have lost in Week 4 by losing to the overrated Steelers.
This season so far has separated the stellar teams from the busts, and it looks like there's more competition fighting to stay out of the last-place power ranking than there is at claiming the top spot. Going into Week 6, the Colts, Giants, Vikings, Saints and Broncos sit atop ESPN's power rankings, respectively, while the Browns, Raiders, Chiefs, Bucs and Rams are all in the bottom five, respectively, on the same rankings. What surprises will Week 6 bring to the NFL? Football fans with tickets to one of this week's big games will be the first to find out!
