Nokia N8: Probably the most hyped and visible Nokia cell phone at the moment, this mobile has become a celebrity in the mobile phone market, with it being the darling of several screen shot articles, 'how it'd be' articles' and of course, product placement all around the malls and shops that the techy and geeky guys move around.
The Nokia N8 is supposed to be released in the third quarter of 2010, and the juice that it has is quite interesting. The phone is a bit big, but slim, with its dimensions of 113.5 x 59.1 x 12.9 mm, which should not be a problem with the user base, seeing how the iPhone has captured the market, even with its slim brick design. It has a now accepted AMOLED capacitive touchscreen, which has can render sixteen millions colors. With a multi touch input method and an accelerometer sensor which auto rotates the user interface, this phone will be quite the gadget when it's launched. The entire phone has scratch resistant surface, which makes it pretty ok for the rough and tough users.
What make the phone irresistible are the internal cogs that run this machine. It has the Symbian 3 OS and has a HW 3D Graphics accelerator. The CPU is an ARM 11 680 MHz processor. This phone might be the Nokia phone with the highest number of megapixels, at a heavy 12 megapixel, and the phone is useful, because it is loaded with autofocus, xenon flash, geo tagging, smile and face detection - something that is a dream come true for the casual memory saving photographer.It supports GPRS, EDGE, 3G, WLAN, and Bluetooth and does not have an Infrared port. I think the time machine from the '90s that had the Infrared Port did not make it in time for this device. This beast can store 16 GB of memory.
