The muslin fabric has a thread count of anything between 140 and 180 which puts it firmly on the lower rungs of the quality meter of cotton. Hence, muslin bed sheets are mainly used only for children's character themed bedding because it needs to be tough and easy to replace.

2. Flannel:

Flannel luxury bed sheets are more appropriate for places that are cold or see an especially extended winter season. These sheets are typically blended with some synthetic material so as to make them able to hold heat.

3. Oxford:

Bedroom sheets made up of oxford fabric tend to be soft but significantly heavy.

4. Percale:

Percale luxury bed sheets would fall near the top end of the quality spectrum of bed sheets because their thread count is easily in the higher range. Owing to higher thread counts, these types of luxury bed sheets are smooth, flat, lustrous and very durable.

It should be noted that when it comes to luxury bed sheets, Egyptian cotton is, by far, the best option.
