Lightyear Wireless Review - Unlock The Key To Success With Lightyear Wireless Mlm

Hello and welcome to all my network marketing friends.

This Lightyear Wireless review took a fair amount of research and digging to bring you the latest and most up to date information on the pros and cons of this rising telecom MLM.

I have been involved in the MLM industry in the capacity of student as well as mentor. During my career, I have researched over 250 of the top network marketing organizations including extensive research on pay plans, products and services, popularity, growth, trends and other analytics.

My mission is to cut to the core of the matter to bring you the truth behind Lightyear Wireless and what this company has to offer.

In this Lightyear Wireless review, we're going to take a close look at:

OVERVIEW

1) Company History

2) Products & Services

3) Business Opportunity

4) Pros & Cons

COMPANY HISTORY

Lightyear Wireless is a subsidiary of its parent company, Lightyear Network Solutions which was founded in 1993. Sherman Henderson is the founder and CEO. Lightyear Wireless was launched with 2 principle philosophies in mind; to provide a vehicle to help people create wealth, and to give the power of choice to the consumer. By 1999, Lightyear was ranked #19 on Inc.500's list of fastest growing companies. That was a benchmark year for Lightyear. In 1999, Lightyear was pulling in over $250 million dollars in gross revenues with a growing base of over 250,000 customers nationwide.

Josh Henderson joined Lightyear in 1997 and successfully created two sales channels with a total of over $100 million dollars in annual revenue. In 2001, Josh left Lightyear for a brief stint to lead a billion dollar telecom company in the network marketing industry. During his foray into the network marketing industry, Josh acquired the skills to develop Lightyear Alliance, which he launched upon his return to Lightyear, where he has remained ever since. Josh lead the effort with the vision of, "Empowering People's Lives by Showing Them A Better Way."

PRODUCTS & SERVICES

As a Lightyear Wireless distributor, you can now offer:

1) Cell Phones & Cell Phone Plans

2) Cable TV & Internet With Comcast, Time Warner, AT&T And More

3) Local & Long Distance Home Phone Service

4) Dish Network, Direct TV

5) Home Security

6) Travel Discounts

7) Energy Drinks

The list of available products, services and primary providers is quite impressive to say the least. At the same time, Lightyear Wireless is its own company. Lightyear customers are billed by Lightyear Wireless instead of the primary service provider (i.e. Verizon). Lightyear Wireless owns an 80,000 square foot facility with over $70 million dollars worth of equipment geared specifically for the wireless industry.

Lightyear Wireless is not a MVNO (Mobile Virtual Network Operator). A MVNO is a company that does NOT have the infrastructure required to provide wireless phone service independently but has the ability to piggy back on the shoulders of larger providers. Instead, Lightyear Wireless is a VPS (Verizon Partner Solutions). VPS allows companies like Lightyear Wireless to resell Verizon products and services under their own name with no quotas and stiff requirements in order to maintain a contract with Verizon.

BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY

Lightyear Wireless distributors can create multiple income streams from a variety of sources including Fast Start Bonuses, Commissions, Overrides, Customer Acquistion Bonuses, and Residual Income on a wide range of products and services:

1) Fast Start Bonus - Get paid anywhere from $100 to $295 depending on your rank for sponsoring a new distributor and helping someone you know start their very own Lightyear Wireless business.

2) CAB (Customer Acquisition Bonus) - Lightyear reps can earn anywhere from 1% to 10% of the their mobile bill as well as the total usage of any customer they personally sign up for Lightyear service.

3) Distributors can earn residual income on an array of different services. The Lightyear compensation model is a 3 x 8 matrix Distributors are encouraged to sponsor 3 reps and to work with them until they personally sponsor 3 reps and so on. As a Lightyear distributor, you can earn residual income and get paid 8 levels deep for all wireless usage within your sales organization. Residual commissions are anywhere from 1% to 4% depending on sales volume.

4) MyWirelessRep.com (Virtual Online Store Commissions) - As a Lightyear Wireless distributor, you have the option of owning your own virtual online store, known as MyWirelessRep.com, for a fee of $49 per month. Distributors can also earn overrides of $3 to $18 on all virtual store monthly fees collected throughout your entire organization.

Through hard work and perseverence, anyone can build a successful sales organization. But mind you, it does take a significant amount of effort and consistent daily action.

PROS AND CONS

Without question, it makes sense to consider the short term as well as the long term possibilities when analyzing a network marketing company and the overall opportunity. If you seriously considering joining Lightyear Wireless, you should consider the pros and cons before you jump in with both feet. Here's my list of pros and cons when it comes to Lightyear Wireless:

PROS

1) The wireless industry currently generates over $150 billion dollars in annual revenue.

2) Americans ALONE spend over $11 billion dollars per month on wireless service.

3) Everyone and their mom owns a cell phone in this day and age.

4) The customer base for wireless users continues to grow without any end in sight.

5) The demographics for wireless users is expanding. Today cell phone users range from senior citizens to small children.

CONS

1) The wireless industry is EXTREMEMLY COMPETITIVE.

2) Even with the mindset of signing up friends and family that should be LOYAL TO YOU, the fact remains that companies like Verizon and AT&T spend hundreds of millions of dollars on advertising to buy brain cells and reinforce their brand. Although many Lightyear customers will be getting service through Verizon's network, the fact that "Lighyear" shows up on their bill as opposed to their current provider may raise some eyebrows and objections.

3) There's a new wireless company springing up everywhere you look. For $50 per month, you can sign up with Cricket or Boost mobile and get unlimited calling and texting. The deregulation of the wireless industry is reminiscent of the deregulation of the long distance industry back in the late 80's and early 90's. A MLM company by the name of Excel Communications came along and thousands of people signed up as distributors looking to create wealth. Excel created a legion of millionaires. Excel eventually restructured their business model after fierce competition laid waste to profit margins. Ultimately, Excel's distributors lost all their residual earnings and paychecks. Hopefully, this doesn't happen with the wireless industry.

SUMMARY

After thorough research, I can honestly tell you that Lightyear is a phenomenal MLM opportunity and a great place to call home if you're jumping into the network marketing arena. At the same time, you will need to take the time to get properly trained with a variety of skills including:

1) Product Training

2) Customer Acquisition

3) Marketing

4) Recruiting

5) Leadership

Regardless of what industry you jump into, there's always a learning curve. Something I learned a long time ago is this, "Align yourself with someone who is already successful and has what you want. Then simply model them and do exactly as they do. Copy their actions, behaviors and habits for success."

As the great Aristotle once said, "We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit."
