LYF Review – Can LYF Survive After Their Pre Launch To The Public?
LYF is a network marketing organization that just launched this year in April of 2010
. Their product line is quite diversified in numerous markets such as health and wellness, personal care, home care, and technology.
Although I could go into extensive detail about this company, the reality is that you can find that information virtually anyone and there are more than enough people that would be willing to tell you about this company's products and compensation plan. Personally I find that information to be very arbitrary and is not pertinent to making a decision on getting involved with an organization.
While those factors may play a small role in making a decision about getting involved in LYF, being that LYF is still new to the marketplace I believe the following factors must be considered before getting involved in this organization:
LYF Factor #1: The first thing I look at before I even take a look at any company's product or compensation plan is their MISSION STATEMENT. While it may seem insignificant, over the course of time I have found that if a company's mission statement is not strong, the company tends to not last very long in the marketplace.
Upon evaluating LYF's mission statement, I was impressed to see that they are clearly focused on providing REAL VALUE to customers and are PASSIONATE about improving the quality of people's lives and standard of living.
In the case of LYF, I believe that if they can act in congruence with their mission statement, they will be able to experience long term growth and become a successful organization.
LYF Factor #2: Secondly, obviously having a UNIQUE PRODUCT increases the chances of success with any organization and LYF is no different. What I was impressed to see was that this organization has products in numerous niches and is quite diversified as a company.
This is extremely important to the success of an organization because whenever a network marketing company focuses on a single product, their ENTIRE BUSINESS MODEL is based around sales of that one product. In my opinion, that is EXTREMELY RISKY because typically network marketing company's offer high quality products at a premium price however, during times of market recession people are a little reluctant to spend top dollar on the latest "lotion or potion".
In the case of LYF, I believe that because they are diversified they will be VERY STABLE due to the fact that they have numerous product lines to balance out the risk of market fluctuations.
LYF Factor #3: Finally, the biggest factor which I feel determines the success of any new network marketing company is the training that is provided to representatives. Being that we are currently in the information age, I feel that traditional network marketing tactics are simply no longer valid (i.e. list of friends and family, home parties, hotel meetings, etc.).
The reality is that simply showing your business to whoever you think is willing to listen is a huge WASTE OF TIME being that you have NO CLUE whether or not that individual has a vested interest in what you are offering. What is far MORE IMPORANT is being able to show your business to the right people off the start and people who want to know more about what you do.
If LYF can train their representatives to effectively market their business, generate laser targeted leads, and empower their people to become leaders, I feel that LYF will be a huge success.
