It could be a fun get-together or a relaxing getaway but what is important is that you get to spend time with your employees in a non-work environment. It shows that the employer sees their employees as real people and not just some work horse to make a profit from.

If you are really on a budget then it means that you need to be really, really creative and find ways to show your appreciation for all the hard work you are putting on. Rewards can be special events and incentives that all employees can enjoy. It could be a free cupcake every Tuesday. It could even be a massage to help ease those aching backs. Item and massages may seem like simple tokens but the message that lies under all these simple gifts is what's important. Whatever reward you choose, it is important that you choose a reward that majority of your employees will enjoy.

Sometimes the employees do not even want material reward. People sometimes just want to be told that they are doing a great job. Keep in mind that if you are sincere about your appreciation, there is no reason not to let them know. Believe me, they will appreciate it.
