How To Attract Wealth: Conquering the "Money Isn't Everything" Syndrome
Have you ever acted as if you could live without money or wealth and would rather survive with the bare minimum
? There is a saying that "Money isn't everything" and although there is no doubt about that, I would be lying if I claim that money is not important to me.
Come on! We were all guilty of this at one point in our lives. Remember that time when you learned that one of your friends won a substantial amount in a community raffle or a lottery and you simply remarked, "Oh well, money isn't everything!" Or remember early on when you were still renting a home and a neighbour just finished building his dream house? I bet you were a bit envious of his accomplishment and told yourself, "Oh well, a house isn't everything. He may have his own home now but he still has a lot of issues with the other areas of his life!"
When other people's successes or accomplishments breed jealousy or any other form of negative emotion deep within you, beware. You are actually preventing positive wealth energies from getting to you. While it may be true that money isn't really everything, we must admit that we can go places if we had more money! We can get a better life if we had more money! And we can enjoy our aspirations or live out our dreams if we had more money!
The problem with having an attitude such as this is very simple - you are not being true to yourself. You are sour-graping over another person's happiness or success and luring negative energies into your soul. As a result, opportunities for wealth creation are naturally repelled. Of course you want a nice dream home! Of course you want more money in the bank! But when you deny these aspirations, you are leading yourself to believe you can never have these things. As a result, you lose motivation and drive to work hard to attain all these.
Money is not bad at all. Having abundant wealth is not a sin. The Creator gave all the things around us so we may enjoy life. So getting stuck in the "money isn't everything" syndrome actually blocks you from enjoying the things that the Divine Creator gave us.
Start with changing your perceptions about money, wealth and legitimate abundance. Start feeling good about prosperity, whether it's yours or somebody else's. Be happy about other people's successes so you can be happy about your own. Success begets success; wealth begets wealth.
So send your blessings to that friend who won the lottery and feel the joy of your neighbour for finally building his dream home. Remember the basic law of attraction and you will know that you will get what you invite into your life. So live with encouraging energies around you and be generous with the positive affirmations. Tell yourself "Just as they opened up to wealth, so can I!"
You will be amazed at how opportunities will flourish as soon as you start feeling good about other people's successes. In place of jealousy, there will be simple joy. Instead of envy, there will be motivation. And rather than believing you are unworthy, you will feel deserving. You will find pleasure in every indication of true wealth around you, and in the long run draw abundance into your own life.
