How I Started My FIRST Successful Home Business
Hello. My name is Deshon Smith. I am a 21 year old black male with only a high school diploma. After high school I enrolled in a local university and was doing just fine. Midway into my second semester I was diagnosed with Appendicitis and was hospitalized for 2 months and had to withdraw from school. Being out of my mothers house and having to pay all my medical bills really put me in the hole. My first job was a warehouse job I got in September, 2006; starting at 14.60 an hour. That rate wasn't too bad for my first job right out of high school. At that point and time the job was enough money to get me a decent apartment, and work on getting myself out of debt.
Truly I must say 2007 - 2008 had to be some of the hardest times I have encountered. I was consistently paying overdraft fees on my bank accounts. I maxed out two credit cards and ended up paying more money I didn't have. My bills were getting harder than ever to pay and I was getting further and further behind. I became a slave to the clock and was physically working harder than ever. One hundred twenty degree heat moving packages was my life six hours a day seven days a week. Due to the recession my company made a lot of cutbacks and overtime was one of them. I began thinking about taking out a loan to finish school, but I didn't want to continue digging myself into a deeper and deeper hole. The Economy also made it nearly impossible for me to find a second job that would even put a dint in my pilling stack of bills.
Lets keep in mind I did not finish college I thought what would be my next big move in life. I loved music and I knew computers. But I didn't have any money to start my own business. What came to mind next was internet marketing. It was a late night program on TV on how this guy tells a story about how he and his family was going broke. Using the internet and marketing strategies he got himself and his family out of debt.
I knew a second job was simply out of the question. So I got on the internet and started looking for a home-base income using the internet. Almost crazy to me at first, but it was always in the back of my mind so I gave it shot. I figured I didn't have anything else to lose. I needed to start making real money and fast. Looking for internet base businesses I found quite a few. Some were scams. Get rich quick schemes that say they pay you with 5 digit figure in your first few weeks. Just too good to be true.
Finding a MLM program I thought would be the next best idea. Since all of my searches were positive for the most part. There was also evidence of money being made so I did a little more digging. I Google search to find more information about the topic.
After looking around I found one MLM that seemed to be doing well. There product was a food card coupon. I contacted one of the affiliates and asked about the program. Surprisingly hearing him say, " Oh I'm no longer promoting that business anymore." I said really then asked him why? That's when he told me; "There are way too many affiliates in the system for any real money to made." He then replied by telling me he would let me know when another new one starts and fill me in on some tips.
And just by using my own judgment and research I found out these businesses only do well for the top business owners of the company. Most times these companies get too flooded and the business no longer becomes a profit. Still not giving up I saw a site on the internet. In fact it was on Google and it said, "The truth about MLM programs." The article was interesting. It had mention everything I was finding out all alone. The article took me to find the system called CarbonCopyPro and after submitting an application I've never thought I'd be this excited in my whole life! The information I learned from the system was so incredible and I wish more people knew about this.
